Redemption Church of Plano

 I couldn't get the streaming to work consistently on Facebook. It was very choppy. I went back and forth from the Redemption account to Tech Booth Operations and I finally got it to work on Tech Booth Operations but never could on the Redemption account.  Hopefully it will go better next time. We did get everything working with using the iPad but that turned out to be moot since I couldn't get it on FB.

There was an issue with getting the handheld mics to work for Facebook while not in the house. Ron eventually figured it out but it took a few minutes. We should be good to go next week. For the setup, I've created a few documents that will help someone who's not done this before.  I've kind of walked Alex through it but I'll need him to do it a few times to get used to it.  To that end, we can get the software installed on the Macbook Pro in his possession and on the other HP laptop that we used on Super bowl Sunday.  Finding a used iPad or iPhone would be a bit tricky.  The app requires at least iOS 13 so I wouldn't go older than an iPhone 11. The new class looked great. There were some issues with some of the spacing, etc. but it looked very good overall.  We definitely a new slide for it. I didn't have any slides prepared of the Hattabaughs.  I wasn't sure that it was this week (March 5th) that they were here.   We can do the beginning message next week if you like. I've sort of showed Alex how it's set up. We'll need to either find a spare iPhone somewhere or iPad for now unless you want to spend some additional money for an adapter to use an Android.  I've also prepared some documents and they are in Dropbox. This is the first doc on how to set it up here .  And here is a diagram on how the setup would look as an add-on.  Ron might also be interested in how we set this up. I made a mistake in Worthy Of It All. I'll need to apologize to Cleta as I had the wrong song up. I'll correct it next week. Everything looked okay for First Tuesday. Any issues?

 I tried a few different things this time around. I had a 'Welcome to Redemption Church slide that had the website and your name.  I used a built in timer for the 5 minute countdown.  This way I could run the slideshow while the 5 minute countdown is going.  There are some limitations as I cannot back up or forward the countdown. So once it begins, it's all or nothing. I think I've figured out a way to use an iPhone as a remote camera. It looks like you can have more than one attached at a time but there are limitations here too. The 'free' version has a watermark at the bottom and is locked in for certain settings. The paid version is about $8.00. If we use a pre-recorded video, I might be able to run it and feed it through the system. However, it would take running it on a different system and I would need to figure out how to do this through the ATEM. If we do it live, then it's just a different camera feed.

The way I set up the tech worked well.  I did use my DirecTV streaming account instead of the Youtube TV account.  I did start the livestream for Facebook about 30 or 40 seconds early that has part of the halftime show on but with Marshal talking. We should be able to do more advanced things with the setup like streaming from a smartphone. I'm still looking into that as I can do it at home but not from the church computer (Mac Mini).  I figured out how to bring in a video stream but I'd need to do it from another computer or play a video directly from Youtube. NOTE :  I will not be in service next week (February 19th, 2023). I can make the lyrics and slides but Madeline or Alex will need to import.  1. I am working on a new Offering slide. Using the Cash.app QR Removing the PayPal 2. Madeline did a great job. She knows the songs. There was a difference in what I had and what you guys sang on one of the songs and she knew the song well enough to adjust where I would have likely made a mistake. 3. We need to figure out how to stream as I cannot use DirecTV as it uses FlashPlayer to stream and Macs do not support Flash.  Ron thinks that P.A. might have a YouTube TV account that we could use and he was going to check with her. Use some other type of streaming like Frontier Communications or some other service that can get Football. 4. I noticed that on the bottom of the RedemptionPlano.com webpage you have the info@redemption-church.com email.  Shouldn't that be changed at some point to info@redemptionPlano.com? 5. At the bottom left of this page there is a 'Follow' button.  Click that and you SHOULD get updates whenever someone posts something.

 1. New Mac Mini still needs an OS update. 2. The Healer song didn't come over for some reason. I added it during service but it was too late. 3. Unstoppable God and Gory to God Forever didn't have Lyrics and Healer had the notes mixed in with the lyrics which makes it difficult to import the song. 4. First Tuesday - I recommend building the ProPlaylist prior to Tuesday. Alternately, make sure the lyrics are in PCO. 5. Can you ask the Pastor if we can update the version of ProPresenter?  I'm not sure what our license entails. 6. I checked the video you sent and it's made for a different version of ProPresenter. I'll see if I can find a way to do it with ours. 7. What's the Cash App address? I want to add it to the Online Giving slide.

 1. New Mac Mini works much better it's a 2020 model with 8GB of RAM but still faster than what was there previously. - I needed to update the Fonts - It had virtually no media, meaning that I had to load all the MP4s from my MacBook Pro when I downloaded them before. - It was missing the ATEM software which I was able to load successfully - It is asking for an OS update which we will need to run at some point. Hopefully New Brazil will do it on their watch, saving us from having to do it.  2. The lights only work in Design and not Live for some reason. I don't know why but I'll investigate. 3. Having the rundown in pre-service really helps me to know what we are doing and thank you for pointing out that greeting was AFTER the first song.  1.  Lights were not working through LightKey.  In troubleshooting, it was determined that breaker 26 was turned off. Once turning it on, rebooting, restarting LightKey, we still could not get the lights to work. 2.  The iMac froze while Alex was attempting to add a slide which forced a restart of ProPresenter. 3.  I gave Alex a copy of the themes so that he can use them as a template for making slides. 4.  1. Trained Madeline - The issue we had was due to the file being opened twice simultaneously. Because the computer is so slow, it took a long time before it opened and recover. 2. Adjusted the lyrics to 'In The Highest'. Questions: 1. I talked to Rick and he was okay with Madeline helping out more. Can we get her in the rotation? 2. Upload to the Redemption Church website.
