2022 12 18 Sunday Service
1. Lights were not working through LightKey. In troubleshooting, it was determined that breaker 26 was turned off. Once turning it on, rebooting, restarting LightKey, we still could not get the lights to work.
2. The iMac froze while Alex was attempting to add a slide which forced a restart of ProPresenter.
3. I gave Alex a copy of the themes so that he can use them as a template for making slides.
4. I really liked how you went through the service points and what to expect. I think we need to get back to a regular cadence of things.
- Check the lyrics
- Check the bumper/other videos
- Point out anything that may be different (Lyrics during Alter, different slides that might need special attention, etc.)
- Pray
5. Ron has been invited to the blog as of Sunday (December 18th) but has not yet finished the sign up.
6. I'd like to add the Mission and Vision slides to the slideshow but I can't find them. I remember the vision as being 'A 1st century church connecting to a 21st century world' or something similar.

We are going to be retooling our mission and vision early this next year. Let's wait until then.
We want to greet our online crowd but not do it ina way that controls the in room vibe.
Thought 1 - a video we play during the 5 minute countdown that welcomes the online congregation.
Thought 2 we have a hand a mic that plugs into the atem/vid switcher and someone talks straight into that and we turn the camera towards them.
As for a new 'greeting', I'd rather do a short video. We'd need to come up with something. We can add the countdown counter in a 'picture in picture' type of scenario in the top left or something. So you have a video playing and the countdown is still going on in the top right of the screen.
The video idea is much easier and frees us up to keep working if we need to. If we do a mic to the ATEM, we have to prep for that and would potentially sound rushed if we are dealing with anything.
